Upscale, Inc. is building high-performance SerDes technology to enable future AI infrastructure. We are seeking exceptional analog and mixed-signal design engineers to drive development of complex, high-performance circuits and shape our SerDes platform.

As a Senior Principal / Distinguished Engineer, you will lead design efforts, influence architecture, and deliver differentiated silicon solutions with system-level perspective across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive analog/mixed-signal IC design and 100G+ high-speed circuits.
• Proven track record delivering circuit designs from architecture to silicon.
• Strong debugging and cross-disciplinary problem solving.
• Excellent technical communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of complex high-speed analog/mixed-signal circuits and SerDes IP.
• Define design methodologies to meet performance, power, area, and robustness goals for 100G+ SerDes PHYs.
• Resolve challenging circuit issues via first-principles analysis, modeling, and silicon-based validation.
• Lead technical reviews across architecture, analog/mixed-signal, digital design, layout, and validation.
• Drive design closure including post-layout verification and silicon correlation.
• Identify opportunities for architectural innovation and design automation.
• Contribute to roadmaps, project planning, and risk mitigation for next-gen SerDes products.
• Promote engineering practices and knowledge sharing.
