Upscale, Inc. is building a world-class SerDes engineering organization to enable next-generation connectivity for AI data centers and HPC. We seek a Senior Director of SerDes Engineering to establish, lead, and scale our engineering team across design centers with strong architectural and IP ownership.

The role combines deep SerDes expertise with organizational leadership, talent development, and cross-site engineering execution to deliver production-quality silicon.

Formación

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in high-speed SerDes or PHY development.
• Direct experience with 100+G SerDes development.
• Strong understanding of SerDes architecture and analog/mixed-signal subsystems.
• Proven experience building and scaling semiconductor engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead silicon development programs from architecture to tape-out.
• Experience establishing engineering processes and review mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
• Strong execution skills and program delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Design Center Leadership: Establish and lead our SerDes design center across locations.
• Technical Leadership: Drive development of 100+G SerDes technologies and receiver/clocking.
• Foundation IP Ownership: Build and lead teams for high-speed foundation IP.
• Module Development: Own SerDes modules from architecture to silicon validation.
• Talent Acquisition: Recruit engineers and develop leadership across sites.
• Engineering Excellence: Implement rigorous design methodologies and quality practices.
• Cross-Site Collaboration: Align priorities and ensure clear ownership across sites.
• Execution and Delivery: Manage plans, schedules, and milestones for IP delivery.
• Technical Culture: Foster depth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
