Job summary

Alto Neuroscience is seeking a Director, Scientific Communications to lead publication strategy across our pipeline and translate complex clinical data into rigorous, publishable messages for healthcare professionals and the scientific community.

You will partner with Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to plan abstracts, manuscripts, and congress materials, manage agencies and reviews, and ensure launch readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of scientific or medical communications experience with publication plan ownership.
• Experience delivering abstracts, manuscripts, and congress materials.
• Ability to translate clinical data into clear, evidence-based communications.

Responsibilities

• Own publication plan across Alto's pipeline from data readout to peer-reviewed publication.
• Develop and maintain a scientific narrative platform for consistent external communications.
• Lead publication sequencing aligned with program milestones and Medical Affairs objectives.
• Coordinate medical content review with legal/regulatory processes; manage timelines and budgets.
