Job summary

Encoded Therapeutics, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Senior Manager of Scientific Communications to lead the development and delivery of high-quality medical and patient-facing materials, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts across programs.

You will collaborate with Clinical Development, Biometrics, Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Communications to ensure accurate, compliant messaging; manage MLR reviews; plan scientific congress activities; and guide external writers and

Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or eight years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with three to five years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of medical writing, publications, or scientific communications experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or a medical communications agency.
• Proven ability to draft clear, concise scientific content and translate technical data for diverse audiences.
• Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and QC abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Draft and revise accurate, scientifically sound materials for internal and external audiences in alignment with company strategy and compliance standards.
• Plan and execute scientific congress activities, including session coverage and data presentations.
• Manage external writers and vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope.
