Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences in San Diego seeks a senior leader in Medical Communications/publications to guide strategic publication plans and independent medical education programs across designated therapeutic areas. You will collaborate with internal leadership and external stakeholders to drive high-impact publication strategies and MRI education initiatives.

Qualifications

• PharmD or PhD with 5+ years in medical communications/publication management.
• Previous managerial experience required.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory guidelines for medical information.

Responsibilities

• Align with leadership and stakeholders to develop strategic, innovative publication plans across designated therapeutic areas.
• Manage author/KOL relationships and work with author teams in all aspects of publication development.
• Lead publication teams and meetings (e.g., cross-functional publication strategy team, publication author teams).
• Develop a dynamic Independent Medical Education program with cross-functional input.
• Represent the Medical Communications/Affairs team as a therapeutic area expert.
