Job summary

East Harlem Tutorial Program is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead day-to-day management of multiple campuses, ensuring safe, accessible, and compliant spaces for students and staff.

Responsibilities include supervising custodial and maintenance staff, coordinating with the network operations team, and driving vendor bids and cost controls. Requires S95 and F07 fire certificates and the ability to work some weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• High professional and ethical standards.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Available to work weekends/evenings and respond after hours.
• Experience managing custodial, construction, or building safety teams.
• Proficient with Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities staff across campuses with fair scheduling and support.
• Oversee maintenance schedules aligned to budget and safety goals.
• Ensure building safety plans and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Manage vendor bidding, selection, and performance with cost controls.
