Campus Services Group is hiring a School Director of Facilities in the New York area to lead campus facilities operations, grounds, custodial services, and project management for a day school. You will manage staff, contractors, and vendors, driving safety, efficiency, and a well-maintained learning environment.

The role requires 5+ years in facilities management with supervisory experience, and expertise in multiple trades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facility/building/property management with supervisory experience.
• Expertise in at least two building trades (plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong leadership and written/oral communication.
• Ability to maintain records and complete reports.
• Positive interaction with client, staff and the public.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies where required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee campus facilities, grounds, custodial services, and project management.
• Manage a team of staff, contractors, and vendors, ensuring performance, training, and development.
• Ensure clear communication on facilities, construction, and safety projects within the school community.
• Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, review invoices, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to standards.
• Manage sustainability initiatives and collaborate with school departments on on-campus events.
• Oversee CMMS to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.
