Job summary

Campus Services Group in Greenwich, CT seeks a Director of Facilities to oversee campus operations, grounds, custodial services, and project management for a day school. Lead a team, coordinate with contractors, and ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained learning environment.

You will develop the annual facilities budget, supervise staff and vendors, drive safety and sustainability initiatives, manage CMMS work orders, and communicate clearly with the school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in management or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in facilities management with supervisory experience.
• Expertise in two or more trades (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies and provide a background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus facilities, grounds, custodial services, and project management.
• Manage a team of staff, contractors, and vendors, ensuring performance, training, and development.
• Ensure clear communication on facilities, construction, and safety projects within the school community.
• Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, review invoices, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to standards.
• Manage sustainability initiatives and collaborate with school departments on on-campus events.
• Oversee CMMS to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.
