Job summary

10x Genomics seeks a Director of Sales Training to architect and lead a comprehensive field training program across regions. You will design onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development for all sales roles, aligning content with business goals and driving performance through a data-driven enablement strategy.

You will recruit and manage a high-caliber team, optimize the LMS and content tools, and partner with sales leaders to translate scientific positioning into field-ready messaging.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales enablement or sales training, preferably in life sciences or biotech.
• Proven ability to scale enablement functions beyond ongoing programs.
• Experience tying learning programs to commercial metrics with measurable ROI.
• Leadership of a trainers/instructional designers team.
• Strong scientific fluency to learn products and translate for sales.
• Exceptional communication to influence senior leaders with data.
• Hands-on with Salesforce, LMS, and modern content tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for in-person training and HQ visits.
• Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end field training strategy across regions.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-caliber training team.
