The Talent Mine is recruiting for a Software Sales leader for an immediate, FTE and 100% remote opportunity. This is with a Gold Certified Microsoft partner that has performed in the top 1% of all Gold Certified partners, and is breaking new ground in the sustainability arena for the North American region. You'll be selling software solutions to enterprise accounts, as well as managing, hiring and leading a team from the ground up.

Overview:

Our globally distributed client has a 30+ year history of delivering multimillion-dollar digital solutions across Microsoft, AWS, Red Hat, Sitecore, and a host of other enterprise accounts, and are now focused on making North America a core region in their portfolio.

This is a player-coach role—ideal for someone with a background in software services, especially at a Microsoft Partner. You’ll start by closing deals yourself and quickly build toward growing a high-performing sales team. You'll report directly to the SVP who is based in California, and working with a globally distributed team of engineers, the executive team and sales solutions professionals in Africa and in North America.

Key Objectives in the First 6 Months

  • Close $1.6M in new client sales (average deals = approx $500k)
  • Build a qualified pipeline to support 2026 revenue growth of $5M+
  • Operate independently in the early phase—you'll be able to grow the team as sales goals are met
  • Lay the groundwork to recruit and lead the U.S. sales team
  • Join as a foundational part of an aggressive 3-year growth plan for the U.S. market

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the North American go-to-market (GTM) and sales strategy
  • Engage directly with mid-market and enterprise prospects to win new business
  • Represent our client at key industry events, partner engagements, and executive meetings
  • Leverage sales tech stack including ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Align tightly with marketing, delivery, and technical teams for seamless client acquisition
  • Manage pipeline metrics, forecast revenue, and report against performance KPIs

Total Compensation: $360-$385k + equity broken down as follows:

$160,000-$175,000 USD annually + 3 month commission guarantee ($40,000)

Automatically increases by 20% at year-end (after 6 months), upon achievement of initial $1.6M target

Bonus / Commission:

  • Annual on-target bonus of $160,000 (in ADDITION to your base salary)
  • Full commission paid monthly for the first 3 months regardless of performance
  • From month 4 onward, commissions are performance-based and paid monthly
  • KPI achievement in 2025 unlocks 20% raise in both base and bonus for 2026

Equity Package:

  • Up to 5% equity in LDNA, vested over 3 years based on cumulative sales/revenue targets

The Ideal Candidate Profile will have most of the following:

  • Proven track record in selling software development / digital transformation services
  • Has a quality network of decision makers that like and trust candidate
  • Experience with Microsoft Partner ecosystem (SI, CSP, ISV) highly preferred
  • Sharp hunting skills with a high sense of urgency
  • Able to independently manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
  • Excited by building from scratch: infrastructure, pipeline, and eventually your sales team
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and a hands-on, entrepreneurial spirit
