Sailes is an AI-powered sales automation platform that streamlines prospecting and lead generation with personalized AI agents called Sailebots.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement a modern GTM sales process, playbooks, benchmarks, and associated reporting.
  2. Define sales goals, establish KPIs, and lead the team to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
  3. Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategies, pricing, and product positioning.
  4. Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Full Cycle Account Executives and other sales professionals, ensuring continuous development and engagement.
  5. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, promoting accountability and excellence at every level.
  6. Step in to qualify and close deals as needed, leveraging extensive experience as an Account Executive (AE).
  7. Ensure the team meets and exceeds their sales quotas through effective management and support.
  8. Monitor and maintain sales hygiene in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  9. Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to overcome challenges and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and support, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  11. Act as a mentor and go-to resource for the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and accountability within the team.
  13. Advocate and hold Account Executives (AE) accountable to hit activity metrics and qualified opportunity quotas.
Experience Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  2. 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, including leadership roles, with a proven track record of scaling teams and driving revenue growth.
  3. At least 10 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 4 years in a sales management role.
  4. Proven experience in growing sales teams within startup environments (Series A - C preferred).
  5. Demonstrated success in defining and standardizing sales operations and setting up CRM systems.
  6. Experience as an Enterprise AE with a track record of closing complex deals.
  7. Ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams.
  8. Deep understanding and genuine interest in AI/ML technologies.
  9. Taken a company from 1 million ARR to 50 million ARR (this scale).
  10. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  11. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  12. Ability to work out of our San Francisco office 3 days a week.
Other Requirements:
  1. Highly skilled in Salesforce reporting.
  2. Flexible and able to travel nationwide.
  3. Strong ability to set strategic direction and execute hands-on.
  4. Expertise in developing sales processes, playbooks, and team onboarding programs.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with a data-driven approach to measuring results.
