Job summary

Peterson Dental Laboratory, Inc. in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a seasoned leader to run the Removable Department. This is a growth-focused management role overseeing a team of technicians and a designer, with hands-on quality control across all removable cases and a strong emphasis on digitizing workflows.

You will train staff, manage daily operations, and collaborate with Sales and Quality Directors to drive department performance, ensuring top-case quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on removable experience across dentures, partials, overdentures, appliances, and repairs (hand-made and digital).
• Experience as a dental lab owner, lab manager, or removable dept manager preferred.
• Strong experience in training and developing technicians.
• Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect every removable case at intake, during production, and final QC for fit and esthetics; log issues.
• Lead, train, and develop Removable Technicians and department designer; assign daily work and cross-train.
• Own every removable product line and oversee digital upgrades (Exocad, 3D printing, milling).
• Be the removable expert for doctors, chairside team, and other departments.
