Job summary

Express Dental Laboratory is seeking a Removable Quality Control Specialist to inspect in-house and outsourced removable appliances, ensuring they meet quality standards and prescription requirements before delivery. You will verify fit, finish, function, and case accuracy while identifying defects and coordinating with production and outsourcing partners.

The role emphasizes precision, attention to detail, and teamwork, with the ability to document issues and contribute to reducing remakes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or currently enrolled.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment a plus.
• Knowledge of tooth anatomy, preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret work instructions.
• High attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Proficiency working with small parts, hand tools, and other small equipment preferred.
• Good eye-hand coordination with color discernment and detail.
• Good manual dexterity with steady hand and arm movement.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods depending upon task.
• Ability to walk and carry parts between departments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate dental restorations per dentist specifications using various materials.
• Inspect all in-house and outsourced removable appliances for fit, finish, and function.
• Verify case accuracy and workmanship; document defects or remakes.
• Operate lab equipment such as CAD/CAM systems, 3D printers, and casting machines.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
