Job summary

Clearwater Analytics seeks a Market Product Leader to own the REIT market direction, size the opportunity, segment buyers, and convert insights into a funded roadmap and go-to-market plan. You will collaborate with R&D, GTM, Marketing, and Finance to drive ACV growth and retention across diverse REIT structures.

The role requires deep domain knowledge of real estate finance, REIT reporting, and fintech/SaaS product leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, market strategy, or commercial leadership within real estate finance or investment technology.
• Direct exposure to REITs — listed equity, mortgage, or non-traded — and understanding of their structure, financing, and governance.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and tax reporting, REIT qualification requirements, FFO/AFFO, and hedge accounting.
• Demonstrated ownership of a market, segment, or product line with revenue growth accountability.
• Strong quantitative instincts; able to build market sizing, segmentation, and penetration analyses from primary data.
• Comfortable engaging with engineers on technical scope, architecture trade-offs, and sequencing.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or investment management technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the REIT market size, TAM/SAM, and Clearwater's share with transparent assumptions.
• Segment the market by buying behavior across REIT types.
• Prioritize segments with a clear call to action and right-to-win.
• Translate POV into a funded roadmap and GTM playbook.
• Size the work with R&D/Engineering and confirm sequencing.
• Recommend build/buy/partner options with business cases.
• Represent market context in solution discussions and trade-offs.
