Job summary

Very Good Manufacturing is seeking a seasoned Quality leader to own and run the plant's quality system for high-speed bottling and canning lines in Fort Worth, TX. You will write HACCP plans, CAPA processes, and audit protocols while ensuring day-to-day compliance on the floor.

You will partner with production to manage releases, investigations, and root-cause analysis, and you will lead BRCGS and other audits, with a focus on safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quality in food, beverage, or spirits manufacturing, including real time in a plant running high-speed bottling or canning lines.
• Written HACCP or food safety plans from scratch, CAPA ownership from nonconformance to close, and audit hosting experience.

Responsibilities

• Write the quality system including HACCP, SOPs, specs, batch records, sanitation and CIP verification, supplier approval, CAPA, and document control.
• Oversee quality on the floor during production runs: fill checks, date codes, batch review, disposition decisions, and root cause actions.
• Own audits: customer audits, BRCGS certification, TTB/TABC records, and audit responses.
• Manage safety programs: lockout/tagout, hazcom, hot work, forklift safety, incident investigations.
• Build and grow the quality department as the plant expands.
