Job summary

nVent is seeking an Associate Director of Quality for Data Solutions (DS) to lead the quality strategy, governance, and system excellence across DS programs and sites. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to embed prevention, drive improvements, and ensure customer commitments are met.

You will own QMS alignment with ISO 9001, oversee audits, lead root cause analysis, and build scalable quality capabilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality, Operations, or Engineering.
• Deep expertise in quality systems, standards, and regulatory/customer requirements.
• Proven success leading enterprise or business level quality initiatives in complex, growing organizations.
• Strong experience building and scaling Quality Management Systems.
• Executive presence with clear, confident communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy a unified Data Solutions quality vision and strategy aligned with DS objectives and customer requirements.
• Lead DS Quality Management System to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and integrate with digital tools.
• Oversee audit programs (internal, external, customer) and CAPA closures.
• Drive root cause analysis and structured problem solving to eliminate quality issues across DS programs.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and Supply Chain to embed quality in design, development, validation, and launch.
• Own and improve DS customer quality metrics, complaints, escapes, and field performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies and maintain DS quality dashboards.
