Job summary

SHRM is seeking a Head of Product Strategy & Portfolio to lead strategy, governance, and incubation for SHRM’s portfolio. You will translate priorities into actionable plans, oversee SHRM Labs, and guide executive-level investment decisions to drive growth and long-term value.

The role reports to the Senior Vice President, Products, and requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional impact across Product, Marketing, Technology, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management or strategy experience.
• Experience leading multi-product portfolios in a matrix organization.
• Experience developing portfolio strategies and business cases for executives.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of SHRM’s product portfolio strategy aligned with priorities.
• Oversee product incubation, validation, and go-to-market considerations.
• Provide data-informed recommendations to senior leaders on investments and priorities.
• Establish governance and decision frameworks for portfolio management.
