Job summary

SHRM is seeking a Strategy & Portfolio Product Manager to lead portfolio planning, strategy, and new product validation. You will work across Product, Audience, Marketing, Technology, Digital, Finance, Strategy, and Knowledge to translate insights into actionable portfolio recommendations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and leveraging AI tools to improve product discovery and execution. Hybrid schedule in-office and remote work options are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in product management, business, strategy, marketing, technology, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in product management or portfolio management.
Experience translating data into actionable product recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead portfolio planning and analysis to optimize SHRM’s product mix.
Develop business cases and path-to-scale recommendations for validated concepts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into strategies.
Build and maintain tools and processes for portfolio visibility and governance.
Apply AI and emerging tech to research, validation, and workflows.
Present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
