Job summary

Piñata in New York is seeking a hands-on Head of Product to own our product end to end, including integrations with property management systems, the renter app, marketplace, and reporting.

You'll write requirements, lead design, mentor engineers, and build the team as we grow. This is a builder role at an early-stage company, reporting to the CTO, with a small team and a fast-paced rhythm that ships impact weekly.

Qualifications

• You have led product at an early-stage company.
• You have shipped integrations with third-party systems.
• You have owned a product made of several connected systems and made them work as one platform.
• You have shipped front-end product for both business users and consumers, working directly with designers.
• You have been deep in engineering execution: sprint planning, backlog management, and technical trade-offs.
• You write clearly, both requirements for engineers and updates for executives.
• You have a bias toward action and ownership, and you roll up your sleeves rather than operate only at the strategy level.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap across the renter app, the B2B platform, the marketplace, and data/reporting.
• Own integrations and backend platform, data flows, and API usage.
• Write requirements and guide engineering through sprints and releases.
• Lead product design and assure quality of renter/partner experiences.
• Define data and reporting needs for partners and internal teams.
• Decide AI placement in the product and ship it.
• Shape internal tools and processes to support the business.
• Collaborate with channel partnerships to translate partner needs into products.
