Superfeet is seeking a Director of Product Development to lead Product Development and Product Engineering, driving high performance and alignment with our Performance Amplified culture. You’ll shape strategy, streamline workflows, and oversee the creation of all technical product information to meet cost and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• , 8+ years of progressive experience leading product development, technical development, or commercialization in a consumer products environment.
• Experience with modern product development environments and tools, including PLM and CAD.
• Experience in footwear, insoles, orthotics, outdoor, performance, wellness or related product categories is strongly desired.
• Experience leading teams, managing complex product development workflows and working closely with cross-functional partners, suppliers and vendors to bring products from concept through commercialization.
• Strong understanding of product timelines, cost targets, quality standards, brand standards and commercialization needs.
• Track record of improving processes, strengthening team execution and delivering products that meet business goals, customer expectations and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing Product Development team across Product Development and Product Engineering.
• Proactively manage and organize the workflow for all members of the Product Development team.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product quality, execution and speed-to-market to advance the function, value and profitability of our products.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce time-to-market and advance the function, value and profitability of our products.
• Contribute to the creation of the overall Product Department strategy and translate it into clear priorities, plans and actions for the Product Development team.
• Lead and manage the product development process.
• Oversee the timely creation, delivery, approval and maintenance of all technical product information to ensure projects meet needs, cost targets and schedules.
• Ensure effective Product Development team communication with suppliers and vendor partners throughout the process.
• Ensure uniformity and consistency of brand standards across all product projects.
