Job summary

Mimica is a fast-growing AI-powered platform redefining enterprise process intelligence. We are seeking a Head of Platform to lead a lean but capable team, owning infrastructure strategy and AI infrastructure as we scale globally.

You will guide cloud architecture, multi-region deployments, SRE practices, and developer experience while collaborating across product, ML, security, and sales. You will shape the standard deployment options for enterprise customers, participate in security reviews,

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineers, including managers or team leads.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes across regions (GKE/EKS/on-prem).
• Strong IaC background with Terraform and GitOps tooling.
• Track record owning reliability: SLOs/SLAs, on-call, incident postmortems.
• Observability experience with major platforms (Honeycomb, Datadog, Grafana).
• Ability to review architecture hands-on and communicate with execs.
• Experience owning a cloud cost budget and enterprise deployment models.
• Background in startups or scale-ups; comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure strategy and platform roadmap for all products.
• Lead and grow Platform and SRE teams; define sub-team structure as needed.
• Own AI infrastructure including training/serving infra and MLOps tooling.
• Maintain DevEx culture while ensuring compliance and paved deployments.
• Manage infra budget, cost attribution by product and customer, GCP relations.
• Ensure reliability: SLOs, incident response, disaster recovery testing.
• Own CI/CD and developer platform; implement IaC and observability standards.
• Collaborate with Platform PM to translate client needs into roadmaps.
• Act as technical owner for infrastructure in enterprise deals and security reviews.
• Mentor infrastructure, MLOps, and Python engineering; set engineering-wide standards.
• Report platform health and costs to leadership; support due diligence.
