Job summary

Critical Mass is hiring a Performance Media Director, Investment to drive strategic use of media and boost client business performance. You will lead a team of professionals, oversee media strategies, and leverage expertise to deliver results in paid search.

You will design POVs, engage with planning teams and clients, and manage long-term plans including quarterly planning and reports, while staying ahead of industry trends and expanding channels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a complex, technical product environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• In-depth understanding of search media campaign management and optimization practices in the financial category.
• Proven proactive self-starter with experience leading large accounts within an agency in an integrated fashion.

Responsibilities

• Act as a search media expert for internal team’s consultation.
• Design and share search POVs and case studies across the business and develop cross-discipline communication planning.
• Engage with planning team and clients to understand needs and optimize search media use.
• Oversee long-term strategic plans including annual and quarterly planning and reports.
• Lead and grow a team of search professionals.
• Allocate resources for current and future client growth.
• Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Escalate and troubleshoot questions with internal and external teams.
• Analyze data and tell the story aligned to client goals.
• Lead search innovation and new product enhancements.
• Identify and test new channels and products with results shared organization-wide.
• Negotiate partnerships to maximize investment value.
• Partner with publishers on roadmap aligned to client goals.
