Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior leader to head the People Strategy & Transformation function within the People Experience organization. This executive will architect and drive transformational change across HR, aligning strategy, planning, technology, storytelling, and portfolio management under one mandate.

The role requires global visibility, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate data into strategy while guiding a high-performing team through enterprise-scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Progressive HR leadership experience with scope across strategy, technology, and operational transformation.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale HR strategy, planning, and/or HR technology programs in a large, global organization.

Responsibilities

• Define an enterprise-wide people strategy aligned with AbbVie's priorities and PE vision.
• Translate workforce trends into strategic direction for the PE organization with stakeholder socialization.
• Lead multi-year strategic agenda with PE Leadership Team to ensure coherent prioritization across functions.
• Drive forward-looking leadership in HR, including staffing, branding, and storytelling across global touchpoints.
• Oversee HR technology roadmap (Workday and AI-enabled tools) and scale HR processes for efficiency.
