Job summary

Mesa Quantum is seeking a People & Operations Coordinator in Boulder, CO. You will own HR and People Operations end-to-end, from offer letters to offboarding, while also standing up scalable processes, systems, and documentation.

You’ll be the go-to for employees and leadership, and help with procurement, vendor management, and facilities as needed. You’ll build HR workflows, own the HRIS, ensure data cleanliness, and coordinate payroll and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR/People Ops with ownership of core responsibilities
• Experience building HR processes from scratch, not just executing existing ones
• Strong grasp of employee lifecycle management, compliance basics, and confidentiality norms
• Willingness to be hands-on across operations beyond traditional HR

Responsibilities

• Own full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, records, documentation
• Manage performance processes and employee relations support
• Develop company policies and employee handbook; ensure compliance across jurisdictions
• Design scalable HR workflows and maintain HRIS data accuracy
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration
