Bethany Christian Services in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Director of Payroll Services to lead payroll operations across the organization. You will develop strategies, ensure accuracy, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance and data security.

You will coach a payroll team, advise on system enhancements (UKG), collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT, and support audits and annual reporting. This role requires integrity, discretion, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPP accreditation preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive payroll operations experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a payroll operations team.
• Working knowledge of UKG products and payroll systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute payroll strategies with strong controls and timely processing.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll transactions and reporting.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate payroll team members.
• Evaluate payroll technology solutions and vendor services.
• Maintain payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT to secure data integrity and security.
• Oversee annual Workers' Compensation audit and data analyses.
