Save the Children is seeking a Senior Director of Payroll to lead payroll strategy and operations across the United States, including expatriates and international entities. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, partnering with HR, HRIS, Finance and IT to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll.

You will manage internal staff and external vendors, drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and support annual audits while safeguarding data security

• Manage international expatriates and foreign nationals’ payroll.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.
• Lead payroll audits and interact with external auditors.
• Partner with Benefits, HR, and leave administrators on related programs.
• Oversee payroll vendors and internal payroll staff.
• Support year-end tax filings and reporting.
