Job summary

365 Retail Markets is seeking a Director of Payments to own the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day payments operations across domestic and international markets for its SaaS platform.

The role focuses on growing monetization, ensuring secure and compliant payment experiences, and overseeing card‑present processing, processor relationships, and cross‑functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Risk.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payments strategy, products, or operations in SaaS/fintech.
• Strong knowledge of merchant acquiring, card processing, and payment facilitator models.
• Proven ability to drive revenue, optimize costs, and improve user adoption.
• Experience partnering with Onboarding, Underwriting, and Risk teams.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day payments oversight across the business, including card‑present processing and payment facilitator activities.
• Manage relationships with payment processors, acquiring banks, gateways, card networks, and other strategic partners.
• Evaluate processor fees, interchange qualification, conversion performance, and other drivers of payment costs and margins.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processing efficiency, payment economics, and portfolio performance.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and lead cross‑functional programs with strategic partners.
• Build strong working relationships across the payment ecosystem to support customer acquisition, adoption, and growth.
