Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. Rahway, NJ invites an experienced Director of Payments to lead strategy and operations across card programs, ACH, wires, digital and real-time payments, and fintech integrations.

You will drive member satisfaction, ensure compliance with NACHA, Reg E/Reg Z, PCI DSS and FFIEC, and build a high-performing team while advancing the company’s payments roadmap. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or IS; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in financial services payments with 2+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of US payments: card networks, ACH, RTP, Zelle, FedNow, wallets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the payments strategy aligned with goals and member needs.
• Oversee debit/credit/prepaid, ACH, wires, bill pay, mobile/digital, P2P, and merchant services.
• Establish KPIs for member experience and operational efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (NACHA, Reg E/Reg Z, PCI DSS, FFIEC).
