Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services seeks a Director of Patient Dining Services to lead meal operations for a large acute care hospital in Indianapolis. You will oversee breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 500+ patients daily, aligning clinical nutrition goals with regulatory and financial performance.

You will develop a high-performing team, collaborate with Nursing, Clinical Nutrition, and hospital leadership, and drive continuous improvement in service quality and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare food service or related environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality, Healthcare Administration, Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Business, or related.
• Experience managing large teams in high-volume patient dining or food service setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day patient dining and meal service operations in a high-volume healthcare environment.
• Ensure meals are accurate, timely, and compliant with prescribed diets; deliver with hospitality.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and improve dining experience.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, service standards, and patient meal accuracy.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Develop, coach, and mentor managers, supervisors, and frontline staff.
• Foster relationships with Clinical Nutrition, Nursing, and hospital leadership.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing controls, and resource utilization.
• Support strategic initiatives, quality improvement, and metrics.
• Promote service excellence, accountability, and patient-centered care.
