Job summary

Mistral is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to build the partnership engineering organization. You will lead a new team focused on complex work with Partners and turn that work into repeatable product features, shaping how Mistral's technology is adopted globally.

You will scale the team, prioritize work, and foster a healthy culture while collaborating with Product, Design, and Business to deliver impact and enable large business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and leading engineering teams.
• Strong Python proficiency with at least one web framework.
• Proficiency in C#, Go or TypeScript with at least one web framework.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Business).
• Excellent communication and a low-ego, team-first attitude.
• Ownership mindset and end-to-end product shipping.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Remove obstacles and create an environment where your team can focus on building solutions.
• Own the most critical partnerships of the company and what's required to make them a success.
• Translate product vision into technical reality, collaborating closely with the Product team.
• Ensure applications are performant, stable, and responsive.
• Uphold high code quality standards through reviews, testing, and automation.
• Own the full software development process, from design to deployment.
• Plan projects, including roadmaps, deadlines, and task allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Design, and Partners.
• Support team growth through hiring, onboarding, and mentorship.
