Mistral AI in New York is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to build and scale the partnerships engineering organization, turning complex partner work into repeatable product features and guiding the team from design to deployment.

You will own critical partnerships, translate product vision into technical reality, ensure performance and quality, and mentor engineers while hiring and onboarding new talent to accelerate adoption of Mistral’s technology globally.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to build the partnership engineering organization. In this role, you will lead and build a new team dedicated to the technically complex work we do with our Partners, turning that work into repeatable product features. You’ll work to scale the team as they grow, help prioritize and support work in a fast paced environment, and build a healthy team culture. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape how Mistral’s technology is adopted globally and unlock large business opportunities

What You Will Do

What We're Looking For

• Experience building and managing engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one web framework (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Proficiency in C#, Golang, TypeScript and at least one web framework.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as Product, Design, and Business.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ownership mindset and ability to ship products end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills and a low-ego, team-first attitude.
