Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, seeks a Sr. Director, Org Capability & Engagement to lead enterprise organizational effectiveness.

This role shapes workforce planning, managerial effectiveness, listening systems, and engagement strategies across the company. You will partner with BD University, advise senior leaders, conduct capability reviews, and drive ROI through data-driven interventions that improve retention and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (Organizational Development, I-O Psychology, or MBA).
• Experience with enterprise-scale organizational transformation.
• Credibility and influence with senior leaders; executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Define organizational capability and gaps using the SOC framework.
• Lead enterprise workforce planning and align with strategic planning cycles.
• Advise senior HR, BU, regional and functional leaders on engagement and effectiveness.
• Own leadership development standards and measure manager effectiveness enterprise-wide.
• Partner with BD University on training to close capability gaps.
