Job summary

Grüns is seeking its first full-time SEO/AI discovery lead to own the U.S. brand SEO strategy and drive organic revenue. You will ship hands-on technical SEO on Shopify, optimize content across pages, and ensure machine-readable product data for AI shopping assistants.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to align with brand voice and compliance. You’ll build AI-enabled workflows, report on performance, and prioritize work that moves first orders and revenue, while collaborating with PR, CRO,

Qualifications

• The candidate has 6-8+ years of hands-on SEO experience and does the work themselves.
• Has proven GEO/AEO results and can explain what moved visibility in AI answers.
• Strong in traditional SEO and AI search with fluency in relevant tools.
• Deep Shopify experience: themes, Liquid, apps, and structured data.
• Experience building AI agents/workflows to increase output and quality.
• Bonus: DTC experience and time in regulated categories such as supplements/health/beauty.

Responsibilities

• Own the SEO and GEO strategy and roadmap across all U.S. brands.
• Ship technical Shopify SEO: crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, canonicals.
• Make product data machine-readable for AI shopping assistants.
• Write and optimize PDPs, collection, landing, comparison pages, FAQs, and blog with AI-assisted production.
• Build off-site authority via link-building and PR coordination.
• Own organic and AI visibility reporting and set targets with Finance.
• Develop AI agents/workflows for research, briefs, production, and audits.
