Job summary

Grüns is seeking a Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer to own the Shopify architecture end-to-end, drive AI-powered workflows, and raise the technical bar within a lean, high-impact team. This remote-first role has full ownership from architecture to deployment and shapes how Grüns can move quickly across products, storefronts, and markets.

You’ll own shared themes and design systems, ship major features, and build AI-powered tooling that enables faster delivery and cross-brand collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of full-stack development with at least 4 years on Shopify themes and apps.
• Proven end-to-end Shopify builds ownership from architecture to deployment.
• Experience building a shared design system across multiple brands/storefronts.
• Daily use of AI coding tools and headless commerce approaches.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus, Liquid, React/Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind, GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; AWS or GCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the shared theme and design system architecture across Grüns storefronts.
• Architect and ship major features from design handoff to production.
• Build AI-powered workflows to speed development and enable non-engineers.
• Design scalable systems, components, and dev tooling for CRO and launches.
• Own site performance, SEO readiness, accessibility, and uptime.
• Integrate Shopify Plus with CRM, CDP, order management, and fulfillment.
• Execute roadmaps with QA and controlled rollout in production.
• Collaborate with Ecom, Growth, and Design to translate priorities into milestones.
