Job summary

Buckeye Partners in Allentown, PA, seeks a seasoned leader to own and continuously improve its Operations training and technical development program. You will partner with Operations, COE, HR, Safety and Compliance to define key competencies, identify training needs, and maintain a competency-based framework that supports workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or Training and Development preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, regulatory compliance or training in the midstream oil & gas industry.
• Strong understanding of organizational development, training methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels.
• Travel to field locations may be required for program oversight (~30%).

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and refine Buckeye’s technical development program for Operations.
• Collaborate with operations, COE, HR, safety, and compliance to define essential competencies and training needs.
• Build and maintain a competency-based training framework aligned with HR processes.
• Support planning, skill alignment and field development to ensure clear pathways for success.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze training outcomes and identify trends and opportunities for enhancement.
