Job summary

Buckeye Partners L.P. is seeking a Lead, Operations Training and Technical Development to design and drive Buckeye's competency-based training program for Operations.

The role partners with Operations, COE, HR, Safety, and Compliance to define key competencies and ensure workforce readiness and development. You will evaluate program effectiveness, analyze training outcomes, and recommend improvements, staying current on industry trends to strengthen skill development and organizational

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, regulatory compliance or training.
• Strong knowledge of organizational development and training methodologies.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to travel ~30% to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Buckeye's competency-based training framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities and competencies.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Support resource management and training delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
