PRISM (Partnership for Research Into Sentient Machines) is a UK-based charity seeking a Head of Operations to scale our operations, HR, finance, systems and compliance while preserving the strengths of our collaborative culture.

This senior role reports to the CEO and leads an evolving operations function as the organisation grows, building durable processes, managing risk, and enabling our programmes and partnerships to scale.

Formación

• 5+ years in operations, finance, HR or related senior role (e.g. chief of staff, head of operations)
• Experience scaling an operations function during growth periods
• Proven track record owning budgets, filings, contracts, payroll
• Strong ability to manage a broad, busy workload with reliability

Responsabilidades

• Anticipate and manage operational challenges during growth; build foundations for scaling
• Own HR and Finance end-to-end (hiring, onboarding, contracts; budgeting, payroll, reporting)
• Design and roll out systems and processes; maintain CRM for donors, candidates, partners
• Provide operational support to programme teams to reduce friction and enable delivery
• Maintain policies and governance materials; prepare board materials and ensure compliance
• Grow the operations function; develop in-house capabilities and small operations team
