Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association is seeking a Director of Operations Excellence & Performance to lead continuous improvement, performance management, and divisional planning across Health Plan Operations. You will own reporting, budgeting, AI initiative tracking, and regulatory compliance across multiple segments including Government Markets, Duals, and Individual Market.

Qualifications

• Required BS in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management; or equivalent experience
• Preferred MS MBA, MHA or equivalent strongly preferred
• Required 10+ Years progressive experience in operations, process improvement, or operational performance management.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise performance reporting across Health Plan Operations segments with accurate, timely insights
• Design and maintain segment-specific scorecards and executive dashboards
• Lead annual and multi-year budget planning and coordination for Health Plan Operations
• Coordinate divisional portfolio reporting and AI initiative tracking across segments
