Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Director of Operations Support to provide leadership, vision, and direction for the defined units within their business area. You will lead teams responsible for identifying, coordinating, and implementing initiatives that create efficiencies, optimize systems and promote quality.

You will oversee budgeting, process improvements, and project delivery, including business analysis and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 12 years’ experience managing multifunctional operational area or IS application/software development in lieu of degree.
• 7 years leadership experience.
• 10 years’ experience managing multifunctional operational area or IS application/software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and set goals for teams responsible for initiatives that create efficiencies and improve quality.
• Provide leadership, vision and direction for assigned teams and manage budgets.
• Oversee departmental projects, ROI analysis, planning and project management.
• Direct system administration, configuration, and support for owned applications.
• Drive process improvements, root cause analysis, and re-engineering initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning for call center areas and monitor performance.
