Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital is recruiting for a seed-stage enterprise AI company in San Francisco, on-site. Join the CEO's right hand in building AI agents that automate core finance and operations within ERP systems for Fortune 500 clients.

You'll own strategic initiatives across hiring, delivery, go-to-market and internal ops, shaping risk management and metrics. Early-stage startup experience and a strong US university degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a top-tier US university.
• 1–7 years in strategy & operations, BizOps or Chief of Staff at a high-growth tech company, or at MBB, a top investment bank or a top PE/VC firm.
• Early-stage startup experience strongly preferred.
• Equally comfortable on company strategy and on office logistics. No task is too small.
• Uses AI tools to automate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional initiatives across hiring, customer delivery, go-to-market and internal operations. You'll surface risks early and keep the work moving.
• Strategic projects end to end: framing the problem, weighing options, executing and measuring results.
• The company's operating cadence: clear priorities, accountable owners and useful metrics.
• Communications, recruiting, contracts and office operations, which the founders still handle themselves today.
• Systems and AI-powered automation that take repetitive work off the team.
• New problems without an owner yet. You'll build a repeatable approach and hand it off as the team grows.

Join a 10-person, $8M-funded AI company as the CEO's right hand. The product: AI agents that run core finance and operations processes inside the ERP systems of Fortune 500 companies. It's already live across CPG, distribution, high tech and oil and gas, including one deployment saving more than $9M a year. The team comes from DeepMind, SAP, Meta AI and Amazon AGI Labs, and plans to at least double in the next six months.
