Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory is seeking an Associate Director, Continuous Improvement to set the multi-year Lean strategy for JMCRS Operations and lead a team of specialists across domestic sites, with travel up to 50%. The role supports Bar Harbor, ME; Ellsworth, ME; Sacramento, CA; Gainesville, FL, and other US sites.

You will coach Kaizen teams, drive value stream mapping and standard work, define project scopes with managers, and deliver data-driven reports to leadership, enabling sustained

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field; master's preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience; 12+ preferred.
• 6 years of supervisory experience; 8+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead continuous improvement program across JMCRS Operations.
• Coach team on Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Daily Management.
• Manage the Kaizen funnel and sustainment bowler to institutionalize improvements.
• Lead initiatives to lift safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost across JMCRS Operations.
• Partner with JMCRS Operations managers to define project scope, goals, timelines, and plans.
• Provide leadership for a distributed team supporting domestic U.S. operations.
• Model change management practices for initiatives across sites.
• Prepare analyses, flows, and reports; deliver status updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with management to validate and organize data for process evaluation.
