Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory seeks an Associate Director of Continuous Improvement to set multi-year Lean strategy for JMCRS Operations and lead a team deploying Lean across Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, Sacramento, and Gainesville.

You will own the deployment roadmap, partner with the VP of Operations, coach teams on Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Daily Management, and report on safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field required.
• 10 years of relevant experience required; 12+ preferred.
• 6 years of supervisory experience required; 8+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead multi-site Continuous Improvement initiatives across JMCRS Operations.
• Coach teams on Kaizen and Lean tools and manage the Kaizen funnel.
• Define scope, goals, timelines, and project plans in collaboration with site managers.
• Provide leadership and development for a distributed Operational Excellence team.
• Deliver status reports and manage budgets for CI programs.
