Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory is hiring an Associate Director, Continuous Improvement to set the multi-year Lean strategy for JMCRS Operations and to lead a team deploying Lean methods across Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, Sacramento, and Gainesville. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements while managing budgets and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field required; Master's preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience; 12+ preferred.
• 6 years supervisory experience; 8+ years preferred.
• Experience leading Lean/Operational Excellence programs across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop operational excellence strategy and multi-year Lean roadmap.
• Coach teams on Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and problem solving.
• Lead Kaizen funnel and sustainment activities for institutionalized improvements.
• Collaborate with site leaders to define scope, goals, timelines, and plans.
• Provide leadership for distributed teams and manage budgets.
