Job summary

GE Vernova in Wilmington, NC seeks a Nuclear Outage Services Leader to drive the P&L and operational success of our Outage Services business. You will lead a large, multidisciplinary team to execute ~24 outages annually, delivering financial performance, technical excellence, and long-term product strategy.

The role demands strategic leadership, extensive nuclear maintenance project experience, and the ability to shape lifecycle strategy across four Inspection Services and four BWR maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 10+ years of nuclear industry experience, or a HS diploma with 15+ years in the nuclear industry.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant Nuclear Maintenance Projects experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing P&L, budgeting, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of ~24 nuclear outages per year, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality adherence.
• Own the Outage Services P&L, driving profitability for the Field Services Delivery Team.
• Lead and mentor a ~150-person organization, including ~12 direct-reports.
• Define and own lifecycle strategy for Outage Services product lines (4 Inspection Services and 4 BWR maintenance lines).
• Oversee commercial operations during ITO and OTR phases to ensure proposals, staffing, and tooling readiness.
• Engage with industry groups (e.g., BWRVIP) and customer NDE teams to foster relationships.
• Champion productivity improvements and implementation of new tooling/technology.
