Job summary

Origence is seeking a senior Manager, Network Operations to lead production support, incident response, and continuous monitoring for customer-facing applications. You will coach the NOC, IT Systems Analysts, and contractors, shaping automation and reliable operations across the service lifecycle.

You will partner with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Release Management to strengthen production readiness and establish clear ownership, metrics, and escalation processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network operations, IT operations, site reliability engineering, production support, systems engineering, DevOps, or related function
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams in 24x7 operations, with accountability for team performance and outcomes
• Experience developing analysts, engineers, or operations personnel through coaching and growth plans
• Experience supporting highly available, customer-facing apps/services in cloud or hybrid environments
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure services and Windows-based environments
• Experience with monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerting, and service-health analysis; Datadog is preferred
• Experience with incident, problem, change, release, and operational-readiness practices and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow
• Experience identifying automation opportunities using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, APIs, or similar tools
• Knowledge of QA, test automation, and production readiness practices
• Experience leading a Network Operations Center or 24x7 support organization
• Experience with Datadog, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Splunk, Terraform, Ansible, or comparable platforms
• Experience supporting containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and highly available distributed systems
• Experience implementing automated monitoring, remediation, and release validation
• Experience in regulated financial technology or enterprise environments
• Relevant Azure, ITIL, or SRE certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Network Operations personnel, IT Systems Analysts, and contractors; set ownership expectations
• Build development paths for troubleshooting, incident response, automation, and reliability
• Develop frontline leaders to manage day-to-day monitoring and support
• Set priorities with clear owners, due dates, and measurable results
• Evaluate staffing, shift coverage, and skills; plan hiring and training
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide operational leadership during incidents
• Own operating model for continuous monitoring of production apps, infrastructure, and networks
• Establish standards for alert response, escalation, and service restoration
• Ensure monitoring dashboards show actionable signals and current ownership
• Lead post-incident reviews with clear owners and due dates
• Create automation roadmaps for monitoring, recovery, and workflows
• Partner with SRE/Platform/DevOps to move capabilities into maintainable automation
• Define operational readiness criteria and runbooks for production adoption
• Govern metrics: availability, SLIs/SLOs, MTTA/MTTR, automation impact
• Represent Network Operations in architecture and risk discussions
• Manage vendor/contractor performance and accountability
