Qualifications

• Minimum five years newsroom experience with two years in content leadership or data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to lead content teams across digital, social, streaming, and broadcast.
• Strong understanding of total audience development, content strategy, streaming, CTV, social video, and digital publishing.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Content Department across newsroom operations, digital content, streaming/CTV, social media, weather, sports, and production.
• Develop multiplatform content strategy focused on total audience growth, engagement, and community impact.
• Establish and manage editorial workflows for cross-platform content movement.
• Drive live streaming, CTV programming, digital video, and vertical content initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, training, and performance management for content staff.
• Use audience insights and analytics to inform content decisions and improve results.
• Encourage experimentation and new content formats to differentiate the station.
• Identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiency with leadership.
