Job summary

JRM Construction Management, LLC seeks a Director of MEP, Infrastructure & Mission Critical Business Development to lead growth across NY Tri-State, developing new client relationships with end users, developers, owners, and partners.

The role collaborates with executive leadership, operations, preconstruction, and marketing to expand JRM's presence in these sectors, including data center projects and building infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in business development, client relations, construction, engineering, or related industry experience.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and building infrastructure with light mission critical work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business opportunities through direct end-user engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives focused on MEP, infrastructure, and mission critical projects.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with end users, developers, owners, engineers, and industry partners, prioritizing direct outreach.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective opportunities across the NY Tri-State market.
• Monitor pre-lease and pre-construction signals to identify early-stage prospects.
• Drive strategic outreach and maintain regular engagement with target clients and partners.
• Support pursuit strategies including interviews, proposals, and client events.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop account strategies for priority clients.
