Role objective
The company is entering a new growth phase and is looking for someone to define and execute its marketing strategy, with the goal of building a sustainable pipeline of qualified buyers that drives revenue.
This is a hands-on role with no direct reports. We are looking for someone with practical experience who enjoys executing directly and who will manage the relationship with a marketing agency.
Success will be measured on two numbers: inbound calls booked and inbound closed-won deals.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead marketing strategy: where to place the next bets and where not to, channel mix, budget allocation, and quarterly priorities.
- Execute the strategy: build the plan, identify the processes, tools, and support needed, and use results to decide what to improve next.
- Manage the relationship with the marketing agency and review its performance.
- Connect marketing to business outcomes: plan OKRs with leadership, define success metrics, and track progress.
- Shape the company’s story, messaging, and positioning for U.S. buyers.
- Align priorities with Sales, Customer Success, People, and RevOps, keep HubSpot lead reporting accurate, and diagnose funnel issues.
- Use AI and workflow automation to make marketing processes more efficient.
- Report progress, results, and decisions to the Co-CEOs.
Requirements
- 5+ years leading marketing end to end, from strategy through execution and results.
- Experience generating qualified pipeline for B2B companies with $100K+ ACV.
- Experience selling in the U.S. market, marketing to executives (C-suite, VP, or Head level) at tech companies with 100 to 10,000+ employees.
- End-to-end SEO leadership (technical, on-page, off-page, and link building), having scaled it from 1 to N.
- Experience building non-SEO channels from 0 to 1, such as paid media or events.
- Experience working with external agencies, contractors, or fractional staff, including reviewing their performance.
- Use of funnel data, in partnership with Sales, to improve lead quality and conversion. HubSpot experience expected.
- Hands-on experience with AI, automation, and workflow projects.
- English C1 or higher and executive communication: confident, concise, and structured.
- Sound judgment on what to decide or escalation, the ability to manage up, and openness to feedback.
- Curiosity about customers, product, and buyer segmentation.
- Long-term vision and a credible 3 to 5 year plan with the company.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing talent-as-a-service or staffing services.
- Experience marketing to buyers in EMEA.
