Job summary

Samsara, a pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives II focusing on mid-sized Private Sector organizations. This is a remote position open to candidates living in the US Pacific/Mountain Time Zone. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

Your efforts will help keep the lights on, get goods to markets, and ensure workers return home safely by strengthening customer relationships and driving growth at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven leadership performance.
• Experience coaching a team on outbounding.
• Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time-frames.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Proven proficiency in data driven decision making in current role.
• Demonstrated ability to provide upwards feedback to upper management.
• Showcased ability to analyze and accurately forecast existing pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of ~8 account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews and achieve quarterly targets
• Hire new account executives and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching
• Work cross-functionally to strategically solve problems and project manage
• Create content for ongoing training and development
• Support account executives through professional development plans
• Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives
• Further culture within the team and commercial organization with high emotional intelligence
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices
