Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and coach a team of Account Executives II for mid-sized Private Sector organizations. This remote role serves candidates in the US Eastern Time Zone and emphasizes building trusted customer relationships and deep industry knowledge.

You'll collaborate across functions, drive pipeline strategies, and mentor the team to meet quarterly targets while upholding Samsara’s Focus on Customer Success and growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience coaching a sales team on outbounding.
• Understanding of complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers and products.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and forecast pipeline.
• Ability to give upwards feedback to upper management.
• Ability to analyze and forecast existing pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews, and quarterly targets.
• Hire and onboard new account executives and provide ongoing coaching.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects.
• Create content for ongoing training and development.
• Support account executives with professional development plans.
• Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.
